Viewing Assignments
I have selected several collections of video reporting for you to study over the summer. The goal of this summer assignment is to provide you with a specific viewing experience, one that you will draw from as we start the next school year. In a nutshell, I want you to pay attention to the following:
1. The wide variety of video story reporting possibilities. There are a wide range of story topics out there. Pay attention to what professionals have produced and begin envisioning your own possibilities.
2. For video reporting, recognize the basic shots used by professionals, and pay attention to their arrangement of shots.
